Things that make you feel like a badass:
- A brush hog for your tractor
- Driving your tractor through town to the gas station (badass/slightly ridiculous)
- Driving around with a tractor tire in the back of your car (along with chicken feed, chicken bedding, buckets, a traffic cone… and have I mentioned that the Element is an amazing car and totally beats your pickup truck for ability to stuff it full of crap)
- Successfully putting said tire on your tractor and filling it with fluid without fucking it up too badly!!! (And seriously the minor fuck up I blame partially on the tractor place not putting in the tube which I specifically asked for and instead putting in one without the handy thing which prevents the valve stem from going inside the tire when deflated)

I may want to pick your brain re: tractor tire replacement and filling with ballast, if that’s fine with you! I have a leaky tube on my Ford 9N’s rear tire, and the idea of changing the tire on a 28-inch rim is daunting [enough that I’ll wait till next spring to do it…]

I’m afraid I won’t be much help. I ended up just taking the tire off and having the tractor place put the new tube in for me. Don’t blame you for not wanting to deal with replacing the tube yourself!

No worries! What tractor place did it for you? Only one that I found that would do it was Otego Tire.

Sharon Springs or Whites should both be able to do it. If you are planning on refilling with fluid I highly recommend getting a hose adapter that fits on the end of a garden hose and attached to the tire valve- made it so much easier!!
